Could Trump be the latest sexual predator attempted to be brought to justice?!
That just might be the case! As most of you may know, Since announcing his run for president and winning 🤦🏽♀️— Donnie has been accused by a plethora of women who claim that the orange office holder has sexual assaulted them in some way dating all the way back to his days as a New York developer.
Though Donald Trump has denied all allegations… 45 may have met his match in one accuser by the name of Summer Zervos, who had been a contestant on his reality television show. Zervos, who is being represented by Gloria Alred, claims that Trump kissed her when she visited him at Trump Tower in December 2007, and that he kissed her, groped her breast and “began thrusting his genitals” when he invited her to join him for dinner later that month in a bungalow at the Beverly Hills Hotel.’ Zervos claims are attracting lots of attention since she was chosen in a national search for season five of Donald’s show “The Apprentice.” But Trump fired her abruptly at the end of the first episode.
According to the Washington Post evidence of Trump behaving in a sexually inappropriate manner could be on the cutting room floor of his years on reality tv…’Bill Pruitt, who worked on “The Apprentice,” tweeted, “As a producer on seasons 1 & 2 of #theApprentice I assure you: when it comes to the #trumptapes there are far worse.’ Trump has publicly denied these claims and branded his accusers, including Zervos, as liars. Given the extreme difficulty of proving sexual misconduct after the statute of limitations runs out–Zervos and Alred plan to file a suit against Trump for defamation. This means that they not only do have to prove that her claims are accurate but also prove that what he said “was false or had reckless disregard for the truth.”
The stakes for the president go beyond sexual misconduct or defamation: If the judge decides the case cannot proceed, the ruling could stymie attempts to bring other civil suits against Trump in state courts. If, on the other hand, the suit does proceed, it could encourage more litigation against a president who entered office with an unusual array of lawsuits in his wake.
And if Zervos wins, her victory could embolden other accusers.
“There are 10 or 11 other women waiting in the wings,” Rabin said.
